☄ general info

♚ CHARACTER: serakagi aoba
♚ SERIES: dramatical murder
♚ PULL POINT: i usually play him after the events of the game; he's aware of his other self and his abilities, and i default to him being unattached but if you'd like me to pick a specific route and ending, or for aoba to already have 5+ boyfriends, just let me know.
♚ AGE: 23
♚ BIRTHDAY: apr 23
♚ HEIGHT/BUILD: he's 5'8-ish with a decent build from his fighting days and his active schedule, but he's got a very soft and kind of squidgy tummy from all the food he eats.
♚ LANGUAGE: japanese, standard. he knows a few german words from furious googling around noiz, but that's about it.

☄ first impressions

♚ VISUAL: full | accessories
♚ NOTABLE FEATURES: aoba's most notable feature is his hair. it's two shades of eye-catching blue; the darker for most, fading to a lighter shade at the tips. it accentuates his already feminine features and leads many people to often mistake him for a female.
♚ FASHION: aoba does not fashion, he mostly wears what's comfortable, but usually opts for the same plain colors in varying combinations. he likes the color blue, so he wears that a lot. he also likes slogan jackets and tshirts, but only because he's used to dressing from mannequins - if he sees a mannequin wearing an outfit he likes, he'll buy what the mannequin is wearing rather than making any fashion choices himself.
♚ DEMEANOUR: aoba is, for the most part, a pretty normal guy. he's polite, friendly and helpful where he can be, but has a relatively short temper and low level of patience. he pretty much follows the rule of getting as good as he gets; if an old lady needs help across the street, he'll help her. if a punk tries to mess with him, he'll fight back. if someone teases him, he'll do the same in return if not more vicious. aside from that he's also very curious, but in a laid back sort of way. he doesn't like anything to be too much of a bother.
♚ AURAL: he speaks clearly and politely, until you piss him off and then he sounds more like a punk. (greeting intro) the most interesting thing about aoba's voice is the ability it holds (see more in abilities section) and countless people say aoba's voice is appealing; it's got a lighter quality to it, it's full of life and has the strange ability to make people feel good just by hearing it, which is a bonus as a good percentage of his job takes place over the phone. aoba also has an unconscious habit of repeating things, making strange noises, talking to himself (or ren, even when ren isn't there) or narrating what's going on around him.
♚ OLFACTORY: aoba smells faintly of metal - like someone who's been tinkering with something that's gone rusty - and mint shampoo and creamy soap. his hands smell like whatever hand cream he's used most recently; his favorite is one that smells of sandalwood.
♚ MENTAL INFORMATION: if a telapath were to scan his brain they'd find the mind of a guy who likes computers and games, music and day dreaming. aoba lives a very wistful and casual existence; he isn't super intelligent, but he's smart enough to hold an interesting conversation and is (relatively) street-smart.
♚ MAGICAL INFORMATION: under the rather plain picture he paints lies something darker, however.. aoba hosts a fragment of his whole personality, a more violent and vicious part of himself who constantly encourages destruction and damage.. and is fully capable of doing just that by entering the minds of anyone he sees fit. aoba keeps him at bay with medication, but with the right fiddling from the right power, he'd be at the very least identifiable in aoba's subconscious.

☄ ABILITIES

♚ SCRAP: scrap initiation | scrap is an ability wherein aoba can mix his consciousness with another persons using his voice, and uses it to control them. using this ability he can also alter a person's way of thinking as a mediator, helping to heal past mental wounds or regrets, or as a destroyer, exploiting those weaknesses to the point where he locks the persons mind in a recurring loop of torture which leaves them either in a zombie-like state or a manic one.
♚ THE 'OTHER' AOBA: headaches/visions | aoba gets regular headaches, which are the side effects of the 'other' aoba trying to break through into the 'current' aoba. when/if he does break through, aoba's eyes glow bright gold and he becomes both sadistic and masochistic, enjoying pain as much as he enjoys inflicting it.. whether it be emotional or physical. in this state he's been known to bring victims close to death only to pull them back at the last moment as a mode of torture, and to encourage more vicious sexual acts to be inflicted upon himself, encouraging the urge to destroy in others as well. to keep the other aoba at bay, aoba uses a specially designed medication to keep himself (and others) safe.
♚ VOICE: with proper control aoba can use his voice to encourage others to do things for him. with the correct lilt he can make people buy things for him or from his shop, can get things for free when he's running short, and get out of bad situations with the right kind of apology or excuse. he also, sometimes, does this by accident.
♚ PERMISSION: please let me know if you don't want aoba to use his ability on your character, or more specifically if you'd like to opt out of experiencing the 'other' aoba!

♚ BACKTAGGING: always!
♚ FOURTHWALLING: go for it, though aoba won't allow you to be vague.
♚ PHYSICAL AFFECTION: PLEASE, aoba is a little generally awkward but give him enough time to warm up and he'll be fine.
♚ PHYSICAL VIOLENCE: ALSO YES PLEASE. aoba doesn't fight a lot anymore, but he's very good at it. his kick can break jaws.
♚ RELATIONSHIPS: aoba is usually the one to be pushed into situations, but once there he flourishes, so i'm up for this. aoba has a lot of love to give, so he's by no means a monogamous guy unless his partner insists. i also love to write him as a fumbling top/topping from the bottom because the game ROBBED ME, but i'm easy either way.
